I have put this together using a demo of claris homepage and a few images and gifs I have found around the place. If any of this is copyright I have not intentionally misused it so please let me know so that it can be removed.

Right. My name is Andrew. I was born in England, lived in Wales and now live in Perth, Western Australia. This page is about some of my interests. If you've read this far I guess you must be fairly interested in the stuff I like. My philosophy on life is whatever happens it'll be alright. I guess I come from the sort of privaleged backround which allows me to say that, but I guess if you try to do the right thing then if bad stuff happens at least you have the safety of knowing you tried.

I spent acouple of years bumming around being a student. I was at another Uni here studying Aechaeology or all things. Then I decided to go and do education. Best thing I ever did. More of that below...

Volvos

I love cars. Most blokes do. My own love is for Volvo's. Not the square ugly boxes you see driving around and getting in the way, but the beautiful machines that got Volvo where they are today. That is the PV 444, PV 544, The Amazon and of course the Saint's car of choice the P1800.

People have the wrong idea about them. These early Volvos were tough. They needed little maintenance and were quite fast. Volvos used to win rally championships, they won at Bathurst a couple of times. I recent times a couple of guys raced a 122S 2 door in a rally and dragged a Porshe with reasonable ease. They were knocked out by a jaguar.

I have one automotive ambitions. Well two really. O.K. three...

1. Take my car off the road, get the engine rebuilt and rebored. Fit extractors to it and servo brakes. Change the needles in the Carbies to a more rapid injection of fuel at low revs.

2. Sell my car and buy an XR6 Falcon...more about that below.

3. Somehow get invloved in rallydriving. I love thpse little fourcylinder cars flying around. The power and the performance from a 4 cylinder is magic. I could alomost cry.

I love Macs too. I was almost going to buy an IBM compatible when a friend of mine bought a Mac. It wasn't a flash one but I could see the potential. Within 6 months I had one. Then a guy I was sharing a house with (HI ADRIAN) decided that he'd get a new computer. He bought a Mac. So did one of his friends. For sheer ease of use and well thought out design Macs are it.
